Surender Punia, MD

ABPN board-certified psychiatrist with more than 30 years of clinical experience.

Dr. Punia is an ABPN board-certified psychiatrist with over 30 years of clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, forensic, and consultation-liaison settings. He completed his residency at Creighton University School of Medicine.

A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA, 2018) and Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (FASCP, 2008), Dr. Punia serves as CMO at Fremont Hospital and holds active leadership roles at John Muir Behavioral Health Center and Adventist Health Vallejo. Fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
